As some of you may know I’ve been obsessed with creating HDA’s & Generators in Houdini and I’ve been going at it all Christmas holiday accumulating more random generators, lol! I decided to summarize some of the techniques that I use during procedural modeling and creating my HDA Generators. I’ll go over some major techniques and concepts that I use in almost every time I create a new Generator. This will go a long way in your Houdini skillset when approaching procedural modeling in Houdini.

Pop Up Live Stream on Vellum Modeling – Procedural Techniques Part 2

Continuing from where we left off from the last Live Stream from Part 1:

In this session, we’ll focus on using Houdini’s Vellum solver in different ways to create various example geometries that I have prepared. From Flapping Wings, Ice Cream cones, Flat Tires, Character Animation, scrap paper, Table Cloths, Pillows, and hanging Jackets. I’ll continue with the Procedural Modeling series and focus creating geometry that’s mostly driven by the Vellum Solver.
