In part 3 of the premium lightning tutorial series, we go over all of the supplementary effects. This includes the sparks, the static and the arcs. The static is created by scattering points on the cube geometry and connecting random points that are in close proximity. The sparks are created using a pop-net and the contact points of the lightning. The arcs are created by trailing points that are flying away from the lightning strikes. In part 4, the final part, we will turn our lightning into geometry and render it out in Mantra.
